With that said, Mark answered my call while he was out of town with his family. He arrived as scheduled. I knew after our initial conversation that I would like him to do the job. But I had to do my due diligence. He had several homes in my neighborhood that he recently painted. Mark also emailed me three prices that covered different levels of paint quality and coverage. I really appreciated that! He came back by to meet my wife and go over her questions and color combos. We found our painter but choosing the color palette was much more difficult. I highly recommend you buy sample colors and brush them on before deciding off sample chips. To secure a timeline and schedule a start time. We paid 10% upfront. If any of the other contractors requested this, I would have been apprehensive. My wife and I were very comfortable with this request. He started sooner than we expected, arrived daily when he said. I had to send him home to his family when he wanted to work to long. My wife questioned one spot on the trim which he took care of immediately. (It was just a shadow) Happy homeowners with the best looking house in the neighborhood.

People even comment on how good it looks because you can tell it is quality work!  He just finished painting our kitchen, walls, ceiling, trim and covering the oak cabinets.   Mark responded quickly to my bid solicitation and quoted me a price. He mistakenly thought I lived closer to his location and subsequently raised the price. He arrived an hour earlier than expected, which was great, and he did a great job picking an awesome shade of my preference color. The paint job on my front door and two porch fence features was done professionally and looks way better than the 15+ years original paint colors that were used when the house was built. Mark is an honorable and nice gentlemen. I would hire him again.

Not only did Mark do a wonderful job with all my cabinets, but he served as my right hand man ensuring that the other contractors in my house were staying on task (they all enjoyed chatting with him- super friendly!) and was able to extend my job to encompass unforeseen circumstances- like finish and paint my island and walls after they got trashed by the counter guys and repair and paint the walls around my new shower insert after the plumber left it a mess.
